Is anyone else completely fascinated by Top Chef? I have to tell you, I think that, in terms of reality tv, Bravo has it down. I mean first there was Project Runway. And yes, I admit I watch it. Two words - Heidi Klum. But then you have Top Chef too. And yes, there's Padma, who is amazing, but you actually get real chefs. It makes Hell's Kitchen look like such wannabees. I have to admit, I'm favoring Fabio for obvious reasons. I mean hey...he's Italian! I think Hosea should have been gone earlier and Leah for that matter. And it was a big mistake letting Jeff go. But I trust Tom to know what's going on. And the new judge is brutal. I wish he'd stay on. Definitely hoping! Maybe it comes from being raised by a family of chefs. I can't cook at all, but I have a healthy appreciation for food. And I may possibly be watching Giada at the moment instead of doing homework. But it's GIADA. She's beautiful. And now I want fried ravioli.

| The Winter Blues |

You know what I hate most about winter? The colours. Everything seems like it's just so bland. I mean, it's like the world is desaturated. Not a fan. I also can't get used to the concept of snow. I mean, we've had snow before once but it never sticks. I'd always thought it was pretty but really, it's a menace. It soaks straight through my shoes and my toes are wet and cold for the rest of the day.
Ice is another thing. I always thought it was clear or white-ish and visible. But that's not the case at all. I nearly broke my wrist yesterday coming off a wicked rail grind and landing squarely on a patch of ice. Only it was black and I didn't see it.
Um yeah. That's it, unless anyone has any cadmium green oil paint they'd be willing to loan. I can either trade another color or pay you back when I get my order in, but I'm right in the middle of something and I'd like to finish. Anyone?
